Chapter 1 Files
So now beings your journey into Galatians. I hope you enjoyed learning the background behind who Paul is & how his life impacts the way he walked out his walk following Christ. Each day, you will read a different translation [be sure to print off the provided file & place in your 3 ring binder]. If you want to take your study to a deeper level, here are some great options: Add lined paper to your binder.
Choose 1 translation & write out the chapter. You will be amazed at how impactful it really is - you "see" & "write" every single word & it changes how you understand it.
Choose 1 translation to compare & contrast. Use the same translation throughout the study to be your "marker" & as you read a different translation each day - highlight the differences in words for key components.
Compare & Contrast Example using NLT & ESV:
NLT, Gal 1:1 "This letter is from Paul, an apostle. I was not appointed by any group of people or any human authority, but by Jesus Christ himself and by God the Father, who raised Jesus from the dead."
ESV, Gal 1:1 "Paul, an apostle--not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— and all the brothers who are with me,

If you are reading to this point, it means that you have been very intentional in your study of the Word of God. I pray that the Holy Spirit has moved mightily [in] you & that there has been a deeper revelation of the Word.
