In my experience, spiritual attacks are more about where God is taking you & your need to be trained. Yes, the enemy’s tactics will try to get us to question our identity and his mission is to stop, detour or take us completely out of (not just where God wants us to be) but, completely out of His will. With that being said: It is critical to grasp that not only has God allowed it but, that it is necessary for our preparedness. Once we are able to comprehend the depth of that love our perspective of what we are seeing & experiencing can move from one of fear into joy. Think about what James said, “Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 In other words, it is through experience that we acquire spiritual maturity and peace which in turn grows our faith. So, how then should we respond? When you can say, “I know God allowed this. I trust Him to get me through. This may be painful, but my Father knows what lies in the future that I need to be able to not only endure but thrive through. Thank you, Lord, for counting me worthy of growing me.” So, rather than drowning in the enemy’s chaos you do not understand, you are now able to fight with a clear & focused precision. Instead of fleeing in fear you are fighting in faith because you know that a good, holy, righteous, and faithful God is in control and that there is an assignment attached to the victory. That means we need to understand and master the weapons of our warfare. This is all in partnership with the Holy Spirit. We were born into a war but not everyone engages the battle. You are not a prisoner. You are a WARRIOR. It is time to suit up! This journey will always begin with Truth. Jesus is our example. Once He was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit, He was led by the Holy Spirit into a time of testing. Satan tempted Him & Jesus responded by KNOWING Scripture. Would it be any different for us? A resounding NO! I recently came across a statement that really made me look at Ephesians 6:10-19 in a completely new way. A revelation that the Holy Spirit IS our armor. With that new perspective I have written this prayer based on that Scripture. My Warrior Prayer Holy Spirit YOU are my armor. You have called me to be strong in the Lord & to draw my strength from You and to be empowered through my union with You-In the power of Your boundless might. Holy Spirit You are the full armor of God. You enable me to successfully stand up against the schemes and strategies and deceit of the devil. I know that my struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural places. So, I put on You! It is through You Holy Spirit that I can successfully resist and stand my ground in the evil days of danger and that in doing this, whatever crisis demands, I will stand firm in my place! Through You I am fully prepared. Through You I am immovable. Through You I am victorious. So today I stand firm. Today I hold my ground. Holy Spirit You are the band of Truth that is tightened around my waist. You give me integrity and moral courage. You are the breast plate of Righteousness giving me an upright heart. You are strapped to my feet in preparation of and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that in Your power I can face the enemy with firm footed stability in a readiness that can only come because I personally know, live and experience the Good News! Above all, I lift the shield of Faith which You enable me to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. I put You on as my helmet of Salvation. I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and in which You give revelation and instruction. And I will complete my armor with prayer, specific request and petitions at all times on every occasion and in every season using my prayer language which is in and through You Holy Spirit. Help me to stay alert with all perseverance and to continually intercede for all of Gods people. In this I pray in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of my Lord Jesus Christ & in His Name AMEN I am hoping that you are ready to ask yourself... does Scripture regarding who the Holy Spirit is - line up with what I am saying. Print off the PDF file. Study the Word & answer the question.

We live in a world that often sees faith as being foolish. But having faith isn't that you expect bad things to go away. It isn't that I see things through rose colored glasses and am ignorant of what is physically in front of me; but rather, that I know my identity [in] Christ. I know who my God is [in His entirety] & I know what His Word says. But having faith doesn't mean that I know how it will turn out - but that whatever happens I trust God & His purpose & plan for my life. Recently, I had a bad mammogram & of course the possibility of cancer was forefront. But the peace that I had could only come from my relationship with God [Father, Son & Holy Spirit]. I suppose that my conversation with God would have sounded very strange to many people - but for me, I understood that it might have been the next assignment that He was calling me to. Why? Because maybe He needed me to be in a place where few could be. Maybe, He needed me to bring LIGHT to other. Maybe, He needed me to speak Truth to someone - yes - even just one. Now, at this moment they believe it is benign but come October we will look at it again just to make sure.
My question is this: Whatever your circumstances-what do you focus on or what ARE you focusing on? Can you only “see” the problem? Or can you "see" your assignment? But what if it's a project? A challenge? Instead of believing that it can be done, do you only see the reasons or obstacles that it can’t? The source of my life, the very breath I breath has NOTHING to do with my size, my strength or my resources. It has EVERYTHING to do with the power of my ALMIGHTY GOD. What’s your perspective? ~C Is the Church being the Church, or is it aiding & abetting? What happened to obedience to what Jesus commanded? Do you know what things Jesus continually taught His disciples? It was these things to which we should be obedient to. Are we? Where is the Freedom? Does someone you know actually need Deliverance? Where is the life set apart? Where is the Victory found in Jesus? Lord May I boldly walk in Your obedience
