 If you've been around me very long - you know that I advocate of writing in your Bible - specifically dates being SUPER important. It was a lesson that God taught me - or rather posed to me at one time - which is this.... How can I remember where & when He has taken me somewhere important in His Word - if I don't make a note of it. Seriously, with the amount of information that is crowding our minds - we are doing good just to remember where we were this morning. Right? In the last year I added another layer to that, I created a Bible Coding. Once you've seen God take you to the same Scripture 3x's in the last few month - I figured out that it was even cooler to realize that He had used different avenues to get me there. That's the point of dating... if you've been there more than 2x's in a close period of time - you had BETTER pay attention. That's what it was for me & this Scripture. I was here via video on 7/13/18 on the Armor of God, 10/2/18 via video the Pure Language, 10/15/18 via video by Francis Chan from the 2018 Passion conference. Those are just the ones I got written in my Bible - because I know that there were a couple of more instances from while I was driving.
So Why this Scripture - it's twofold for me - but today it's about being intentional in praying for all God's people. In November, I'll be teaching a workshop at a LoveStrong Ministries Weekend Retreat & I realized how caught up we can get worrying about our own presentation - but if I am Kingdom minded, I need to be actively praying for the other speakers & worship team - I need to pray anointing & blessings on their words so that God is glorified & that His message reaches every woman whose there - every staff member that interacts - everyone. It's so much bigger than me & my ego or even how I look or come off - I want everyone to succeed at what God is calling them to. What about you? Are you praying for others consistently? It was a good wake-up call. So, I was traveling back from being in Missouri on the 30th - after a lot of delays, I rolled into the house at midnight & in bed by 1 AM. Needless to say, I'm still adapting. Was super excited to celebrate my son Sheldon's 26th Birthday with his wife Amy & the Hub's on the 1st. I've been playing catch up, not to mention that I didn't have my Scripture until yesterday. I have to tell you that it's pretty incredible when you KNOW that God gave it to you. Yesterday, I had the Spirit's prompting to go back & watch a video of a previous sermon by Pastor Robert Morris. It's been a couple of years since he had done it & at least a year since I had watched it. Powerful stuff! I knew immediately what God was calling me to memorize.
