10/1/18 | Scripture Challenge

So, I was traveling back from being in Missouri on the 30th - after a lot of delays, I rolled into the house at midnight & in bed by 1 AM.  Needless to say, I'm still adapting.  Was super excited to celebrate my son Sheldon's 26th Birthday with his wife Amy & the Hub's on the 1st.  I've been playing catch up, not to mention that I didn't have my Scripture until yesterday.  I have to tell you that it's pretty incredible when you KNOW that God gave it to you.  Yesterday, I had the Spirit's prompting to go back & watch a video of a previous sermon by Pastor Robert Morris.  It's been a couple of years since he had done it & at least a year since I had watched it. Powerful stuff!  I knew immediately what God was calling me to memorize.  If you are interested in the sermon link - let me know ~C

So here we go:  Cheryl M, Peoria, AZ  1 Corinthians 14:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP) "14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive [because it does not understand what my spirit is praying]. 15 Then what am I to do? I will pray with the spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me] and I will pray with the mind [using words I understand]; I will sing with the spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me] and I will sing with the mind [using words I understand].
