Yes, I have delayed. I was given this Scripture several days before the 15th & just knew that it was an amazing Word from my Father. Then the question becomes - is my heart completely His? Of course I want to immediately say yes - right? But, the reality is that if I am honest with myself - I can't say that it is, 100% of the time. I want it to be & so I strive to surrender the things that cloud my vision, distort my thinking & interrupt my actions. It's actually why it is so critically important for each of us to understand that following Christ is not a "one-and-done" thing. It is a daily choice. A daily choice to seek Him. A daily choice to surrender. A daily choice to repent. A daily choice to love. A daily choice to live with purpose.
So, as we finish up this years commitment, I hope that you will continue on this journey - whether you join the 2019 Challenge with us - or if you go on your own. May you live with the knowledge that God truly wants to support those whose hearts are completely His.... So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
