3.15.19 | OBEDIENCE , Scripture Challenge

It has taken awhile to get my Scripture so, I'm sorry for the delay.  Truly, I use this as my personal accountability tool.  It's crazy amazing what God is doing in my life right now - especially with teaching Biblical Foundations from a full gospel perspective.  When you teach, you learn & grow even more than normal.  He is truly challenging me on what Biblical obedience looks like.  In other words, if the Bible says I should be doing it - then I need to do it.  I'm willing to learn & step out in faith but not having someone modeling it is the daunting part.  Here's what I know - I learn & then I teach it.  That's the heart behind my verse for this next 2 weeks.  The difficult thing about obedience is that it is rarely understood, even by Christians [maybe even more so] - which truly is sad.  BUT, that should NOT stop me from being obedient to what God calls me to.  It is rarely easy.  It often doesn't make sense. Do it anyway!  I was so blessed yesterday when I witnesses 2 people step up in obedience & equally blessed by the leaders modeling what it looks like to encourage & bless them in their obedience.  It was beautiful & heart wrenching at the same time.  What I envision, is the blessing & favor by God, in a life of obedience - He is able!
