8/1 & 8/15/19 | Scripture Challenge

Yes!  I am late...

Seriously, it didn't hit me until the 5th that I had not posted BECAUSE I forgot to put it in my planner.  Yet, here we are 3 days later actually getting to it.  You might notice that my Heading is future tense - in other words, my Scripture is going to cover both dates because it's 2 verses that go back to back & are equally important.  

Let me share them first:  1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
"And may the Lord cause you to increase and excel and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; 13 so that He may strengthen and establish your hearts without blame in holiness in the sight of our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints (God’s people)."

So there has been much ado about LOVE - it's ALL OVER God's Word - but I love how it says "may the Lord cause you", let's face it... on our own, it's hard.  Then those words INCREASE, EXCEL, OVERFLOW... why?  SO THAT, He may do what?  STRENGTHEN & ESTABLISH...  That last word, ESTABLISH - that's another one that God keeps throwing my way.  This feels HUGE.  I mean REALLY HUGE.
