Don't Fool Yourself

There are at least two incredibly dangerous and false theologies out there regarding Satan.
One says that the enemy is symbolic, that the devil isn’t real. The other, though they believe that he exist, have a false understanding of, “if I don’t talk about him, if I don’t say his name, then he’s going to leave me alone” and all I’m gonna say to that is GET REAL.

I’m not saying that he should be giving too much credit, But I’m also not saying to ignore. The Bible is riddled with warnings and if he wasn’t real, if the danger wasn’t valid —then why in the world would God put it in His Word so consistently? He did because he is real.

I wonder, do Believers think that he actually takes a day off? That somehow we get a vacation? No. But I also wonder how many people are walking around unarmed, unprepared, and completely oblivious?
The most effective warfare that I believe the enemy has brought to the church is the theology of extremes. Extremes of many things found in the Bible have caused believers & non-believers to either shy away from or completely disregard important aspects of our walk.

In those extremes, Satan has quite effectively made us ineffective.

The most prominent of all of these extremes has been centered around the third person of who God is — The Holy Spirit.  We need a Church that knows who He is, that knows why Jesus sent Him and what it means to be led & live in and through Him & until we do, we will remain weak and ineffective.  Are you ready for revelation? Are you ready to ask the question, “what do I know & not know about Him? Are my beliefs biblical? Does it line up with the first church? What might I believe that isn’t Truth and in that error, am I missing something?”  

The truth is, you can & will find anything outside of the Bible that will tell you what you are comfortable hearing if that’s the route you choose to get answers.  But if Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is our Teacher and that He was all I needed to actually understand— then my question is, are you willing to go to Him to get your answers? Do you actually want to know TRUTH? My prayer is that you do. My prayer is that you recognize something is missing. My prayer is that you will seek and search until you find.
