I am so grateful for the journey that God has taken me on over the last 10 years. I’m grateful for that deep longing to study the Word of God but, mostly I am grateful that I’ve gotten to know Him in His entirety (there will always be more depth).
Knowing God as the Father has helped me understand life’s circumstances and all that He has allowed in my life & the purpose behind it. Knowing the Son, has brought me deliverance from who I used to be & has given me a heart & a passion to share Him so that others can experience what I have in my life. And being filled with & empowered by & led by the Holy Spirit has changed everything. I wish I could tell you that I have it all down & that I know everything I need to know and that I react exactly how I should react BUT I’m not there yet. BUT, I also don’t live in satisfaction of who I am today because I know that there is more of who Christ is that should be reflected in me. There are dangerous theologies out there that want to neglect or even erase the God of the Old Testament and can I just tell you that if you are in anything that’s doing THAT turn around and run as fast as you can in the other direction. It is truly extraordinary to understand the depths of God‘s love but it is equally as important to understand the depth of His righteousness, of His justness, of His holiness, of His jealousy for you & so much more. I think people try to attribute certain characteristics to only God the Father. But we need to understand that every characteristic is equally a part of God in His entirety. What is in the Father-is in the Son and what is in the Father & the Son -is in the Holy Spirit they are equally divine. There is no such thing as a Jesus only. It is all three in one. So the question that we should all be asking ourselves is, “How do I know if I am seeking, learning and walking in the right path? Instead of asking someone, instead of reading a book, instead of reading a commentary can I just suggest that you ask HIM yourself.
