Where Obsession is inspired by God

I realize that my quote may seem out of place, but the truth is, it's the center of everything I do and all that I am.  I don't hesitate one bit on sharing my faith but, that hasn't always been the case.  In fact, my obsession with planners and all things about organization stem from an encounter with God in August of 2010.  You see, I had been running hard & fast from being the woman of God that He had been calling me to be.  If you have ever experienced that moment when the reality of life meets a Savior who wants something more for you - then you will understand how I could be one person and the next day- be someone else, someone changed.  I had reached that point, where I couldn't understand how a child who had grown up in church, been introduced to Jesus & had ended up in a place I didn't want to be.  So, I began seeking answers & not only did He show up for me, He very clearly gave me a sense of purpose, passion & most important redemption.  So exactly one month after that encounter I designed my first faith based planner that was designed to keep God at the center of my life.  A place, where I couldn't shelve Him.  Every year the designs evolve into something I'm obsessed with.  The concept & the ideas still come from Him.  Sometimes the ideas come through dreams, sometimes it's through conversations that are totally NOT random & once it's in my head, I am like a mad scientist that can't stop until it's on paper.  My first year I sold over 250 planners.  I thought that was crazy.  Every year it's a little different.  It's never really been about the money - in fact for several years, 100% of the profit went to support my women's ministry www.inlifeministry.org, but God has been moving me in a completely new direction & I'm excited to see what's in store.  The entire reason I'm blogging now, was because of a meeting I have with my friend Dette.  I was just sharing my latest design that I've been testing for 2018 & she looked at me and ask - "Are you blogging about this?"  Ugh, no!  Here's the deal: I believe in God ordained appointments, that place where He speaks something into your life that hadn't crossed your mind and yet is so completely in tune with the direction He's been taking you that it's like it just leaps up and grabs you.  That's what it was like on Friday, June 16, 2017.  So, here we are on this journey.  It's in God's hands but I'm pretty sure that He's had this planned long before I knew about it.
